The beginning of May was marked by the 5th annual conference of Global M&A partners, dedicated to Market Prospects of M&A Companies in the Mid-segment. Sokrat Group, the exclusive representative of Global M&A in Ukraine, was represented by Director of Investment and Banking Vladislav Ostapenko.

LLC «Financial Company «Sokrat», a member of «Sokrat» investment group, became the third according to the amount of its activities in the first quarter of 2008 based on ranking of securities custodians, compiled by Professional Association of Registrars and Depositaries (PARD).

CJSC FC Sokrat, part of the Sokrat investment group, now ranks third in terms of stock trading according to March 2008 ratings of professional participants of the market, drawn up by the PFTS, a Ukrainian Stock Exchange.

Sokrat investment group participated in the Investing in Corporate Ukraine conference, organized by Financial Times Global Events, on April 23, 2008. At the conference, Sokrat presented during a specialized seminar on mergers and acquisitions.
