The regulation on depository business (No. 999), registered by the State Commission for Securities and the Stock Market (SCSSM) on Oct. 17, 2006, is a basic regulatory document that regulates the work of FC Sokrat LLC as a custodian. This regulation describes the terms used in the course of work within the depository system, explains the responsibilities of the custodian, describes procedures, outlines deadlines for conducting transactions, lists the documents required for custodian work, etc.
The Jan. 24, 2008 SCSSM resolution No. 50 states that as of April 2008, the law on the approval of amendments to the regulation on depository business came in effect and was approved by the SCSSM Oct. 17, 2006 resolution (No. 999), which is to be taken into account in the course of the custodian’s work.
